About Alejandro

Alejandro Garcia takes a new approach producing music that blends sound of his latino roots and modern music productions. He takes his influences from his Mexican Caribbean background, and transforms them to fresh RnB, Reggaeton and Afrobeats tracks.

A Mexican, born in Cancun and raised in Monterrey, he takes inspiration from both the Caribbean and northern lifestyles for the music he creates. He began studying the violin as a toddler, performing at a young age with orchestras around the city before moving on to the Guitar. This second instrument had a more important role in the musical theater productions and concerts he participated in during middle and high school where he was a scholarship recipient. This school, Tecnológico de Monterrey is one of Mexico's most prestigious universities. He then received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music as a guitarist where he now concentrates in the production of songs majoring in Independent Recording and Production.

Using rhythms originating from his roots in the Caribbean, electric guitars from the northern Mexican regional and rock scene and a modern approach on sound design, Alejandro creates tracks which fit the vibes of his favorite activities such as a party or a chill day at the beach. He also has great technical abilities which serve the musicians he is working with.

Alejandro prioritizes efficiency and quality while collaborating with artists who have worked with him on tracks as well as having him engineer their recordings. Alejandro has worked on songs with other artists at Berklee as well as artists back home in Mexico. The styles have ranged from Acoustic and RnB, to more modern Reggaeton and Pop. He is currently working with independent artists as an independent producer in a variety of genres, as well as main engineer of an album made by a fellow Berklee student, for which he is also the director for the documentary which shows the whole process of creating the album.
